Candice Thila is named after the famous British marine biologist Candice G. Gunning. Located 15 minutes north of Le Méridien Maldives by boat, this beautiful small reef has a top at around 5m and descends to approximately 30m, with healthy hard corals in vibrant colours.
Resident batfish and schooling reef fish bring the thila to life, while nurse sharks can be found resting in hiding places and stingrays may glide across the reef.
