Miyaru Gaa means “Shark Block” in Dhivehi, an especially fitting name for this shallow reef. To be more precise “Nurse Shark Block“ would hit the nail on the head...Ranging from just 2–7m, the site offers an ideal setting to observe nurse sharks and stingrays cruising around the reef.
Nurse sharks and stingrays are the main attraction, with the shallow depths making Miyaru Gaa an excellent site for both diving and snorkelling.
