1 hour to the south of El Gouna you can find the Fanadir reefs. It is a wall full of spectacular marine life. Above the wall is a plateau which is about 20m wide, then the wall drops off to over 70m deep. There is one big pinnacle full of glass fish and moray eels.

The wall is full of moray eels, scorpion fish, nudibranchs, lion fish, stonefish, starfish, and octopuses. Sometimes you can find a frog fish here. Off in the blue there are eagle rays.
