El Fanadir, South
★★★★☆
(6,962)
1 hour to the south of El Gouna you can find the Fanadir reefs. This site features a wall which is full of marine life. After the wall sits a Plateau which is about 20m wide and then there is a drop-off to over 70m depth. On the plateau you will find some pinnacles to explore.
The wall is full of moray eels, scorpion fish, nudibranchs, lion fish, stonefish, starfish, and octopuses. Sometimes you can find a frog fish here. Off in the blue there are eagle rays.
