Halaaku Thari Thila lies 10 minutes to the north and translates as “Broken Star Thila”, reflecting its distinctive topography. The reef starts at around 5m and features healthy hard corals, including an almost vertical wall, before reaching a maximum depth of 25m.

Humpback and bluestripe snappers create a colourful display alongside anemonefish and batfish, while eagle rays and stingrays can be seen around the reef - very ’fishy’ experience

The dive site itself actually consists of two dive sites that are divided by a sandy plateau at 8 meters. South of the plateau we can find a large lagoon with an average depth of about 12 meters.
