The SSI Dry Suit Diving specialty is the best way to get started in dry suit diving and will allow you to possess all the knowledge and techniques needed to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit. You will learn how to use specialized equipment such as dry suits and jackets, the advantages of using dry suits and how to deal with emergency situations specific to this type of diving. Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SSI Dry Suit Diving specialty certificate.

You'll learn how to use a diving compass, natural navigation techniques, estimating distance, how to swim away and return to a designated spot, and basic navigation patterns. The SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility specialization is the best way to learn about night diving and the techniques needed for a safe and confident diver during night dives. In this course, you will become familiar with the knowledge and skills needed to safely and comfortably dive at night or in limited visibility conditions. Through a combination of online theory and open water dives, you will learn how to safely enter and exit the water, how to use specialized equipment and how to effectively communicate with your partner at night or in conditions of limited visibility. Upon completion of the course, you'll receive your SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility specialty certification and be ready for night dives with confidence in your skills.
