Assistant Instructor

The Assistant Instructor credential is the next step after becoming a Divemaster on the instructor path. It will allow you to gain valuable training experience, practice briefings, teach theory and conduct in-water training. If you want to advance your career as a diving professional, you can complete the Instructor Training Course, pass the Instuctor Evaluation and become an Open Water Diving Instructor.

  • Minimum age 18
  • Amount of Pool/Confined Water Sessions 6
  • Minimum dives for certification 75
  • Maximum Training Depth 40m
  • Suggested duration in hours 35 - 42
  • Amount of Academic Sessions 1

Certification Prerequisites

Divemaster certification, Minimum 60 logged dives (totaling 40 hours dive time)
