Koh Bon, West Ridge
★★★★☆
(2,992)
Bon Island, about 50 km west of Khao Lak, is an uplifted limestone island about 20 km north of the Similan Islands. This is a long and narrow ridge point on the west side of the island.
Manta rays come in to feed here. You can also see big fish such as whale sharks, tiger sharks, and eagle rays, as well as large schools of fusiliers and migratory predatory fish such as bluefin trevally and bluefin tuna.
