La Grotta del Grongo, Calafuria

One of the most fascinating dives along the Livorno coast, easily accessible even from shore. A large entrance at 23 meters leads into a very spacious cave, with the ceiling covered in yellow madrepores. The cave is home to a pair of conger eels, one of which is fairly large.
The dive is extremely rich in red coral, gorgonians, numerous lobsters, conger eels, breams and colorful nudibranchs.
