Racha Noi, Ao Noi
Of all the dive sites on the East coast of Racha Noi, this one is particularly special. It’s reminiscent of the boulder sites for which the Similan Islands are famous. It’s usually done as a drift dive, but the current is generally mild. The highlight is a large, granite boulder formation.
Reef octopus are common, along with lionfish, scorpionfish, trigger fish, giant morays, and all the regular reef-dwellers. Look out into the blue for the occasional passing manta ray.
