In this flexible course, you can choose your subject areas, such as initial assessment, first aid, CPR and stabilization techniques. With a combination of theory and practical exercise scenarios, this course will give you important tools and confidence to provide emergency assistance. Start today - You need to be a Divemaster or equivalent to join SSI's 3-Step Instructor Training Approach. The training process begins with enrollment in the combined Assistant Instructor / Instructor Training Course accompanied by digital learning. Upon successful completion of the Instructor Training Course (ITC), you will enroll in an Instructor Evaluation (IE) to qualify as an SSI Open Water Instructor. This 10-day training program qualifies you to independently teach several key SSI programs, such as Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue and Dive Guide. DIVEMASTER COURSE Your first professional step into the amazing world of scuba diving. Through online learning and open water and confined water dives, the SSI Scuba Diver course provides you with the perfect foundation to become an independent and safe diver. You will learn everything you need for open water dives to a maximum depth of 12 meters together with an SSI Professional. With this course you will complete about half of the Open Water Diver course and can upgrade your certification later. All you have to do is complete the remaining theory and limited open water units as well as two open water training dives.

Take an Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course if you want to shorten your surface intervals and extend your dive time. You'll spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites instead of waiting! With the course you will expand your diving knowledge to plan safe dives with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen. After completing the course, you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.
