An Indoordiver is a diver who makes his first dives in a swimming pool or a specially designed diving pool. The Indoordiver course teaches the basics of diving under controlled conditions before going into open water. Upon successful completion, the diver receives a certificate that qualifies them for certain dives in confined water. What is an indoor diver course? An indoor diver course is a diving course that takes place in a controlled environment such as a swimming pool or indoor diving center. The course teaches the basic diving skills and knowledge required for safe diving. Difference to Open Water Diver: The main difference to the Open Water Diver course is that all dives in the Indoor Diver course take place in a swimming pool or an artificial body of water, rather than in open water.
