Vis Island—Attractions and Must-See Places. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot in Croatia that hasn’t yet been overrun by commercial tourism, Vis Island seems like the perfect destination. The (still) low volume of tourists is mainly due to the island’s great distance from the mainland, as well as the fact that Vis only became accessible to tourists a dozen or so years ago, following the breakup of Yugoslavia. Departure on Friday, September 19; return to Poland on September 28, 2025. The Nautica dive center on the island of Vis is open from late May through October. We invite you to enjoy recreational and technical dives, as well as diving courses at all levels, led by Polish instructors. We’ve also prepared a mini-guide for you on what to see and do on this beautiful island. We want to encourage you to venture off the beaten path. The island of Vis is a wild place, untouched by mass tourism, ideal for groups and families, and for those who want to slow down a bit… Our dive center is located on the ground floor of the Issa Hotel in Vis. The center’s 200 m² space includes: an office, a lounge area for guests, two storage rooms for drying dive gear, a compressor room, restrooms, and a reb-room. In the office, you’ll find a dedicated area for charging flashlights, computers, phones, etc., as well as a coffee corner. The dive center is equipped with approximately 100 steel tanks with DIN valves, in 15- and 12-liter sizes, both single- and double-valve. We rent a full range of wetsuits, boots, and fins; wings, dive computers, compasses, regulators, and flashlights. For our guests, we also have stage air and oxygen tanks, twinsets, pure oxygen regulators, and dry suits. 1. Recreational Diving; Recreational diving, as defined in this price list, must meet all three of the following conditions: be non-decompression, not exceed a depth of 40 m, and last no longer than 60 minutes. Included in the price of the dive: a Polish guide, compressed air, a tank (10 L, 12 L, or 15 L), weights, transportation to the dive site, hot and cold beverages, and a snack. The price does not include: rental of other diving equipment (check equipment rental prices). A night dive can be conducted at no extra charge—from the shore—as one of the dives in the selected package. Dive prices do not depend on the distance to the dive site. Recreational Dive Packages: 10 / 5 dive days, price 390 EUR 2. Technical or Extended Dives “Technical or extended dives” refer to: decompression dives, dives deeper than 40 m, dives lasting longer than 60 minutes, and dives using “stage” tanks.
