Dry Suit Diving

Dry Suit Diving

As a dry suit diver you can dive warm and comfortable in cold waters all year round. Only dry suit diving opens up the special underwater landscapes of cold water to you: dives on the icebergs in the remote Arctic or fascinating places teeming with life despite the cold. Dry suits are also great if you dive several times a day. Instead of struggling to get out of the cold, wet wetsuit each time, the dry suit diver simply leaves his suit on. The best way to dry suit dive is the SSI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course. Here you will gain the necessary knowledge and learn all the skills you need to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit. This includes how to use the special equipment and how to deal with difficult situations and problems with the dry suit. At the end of the course you will receive the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty certification.

Adventure Diving

You do not need any diving experience for this scuba diving course. Maybe you've already been scuba diving on vacation and aren't sure whether you should do a proper OWD course. Or maybe you would like to experience the adventure in the gasometer. During adventure diving you will receive a theory briefing and an experienced diving instructor will dive with you in the gasometer to a depth of 12.0m. During this guided dive in the gasometer, you will see our ship and plane wreck, the artificial reef and much more. The aim of this course is to give you the feeling of being able to breathe underwater and, as with all our courses, to have lots of fun. The rental equipment is of course included. You should allow about 3 hours including waiting time. We can never give you an exact time as it depends on many factors. If someone has problems, we give ourselves more time to give them the opportunity to get used to it. You must be physically and mentally fit to participate, even with a small cold problems would occur. Participation can take place at the age of 12 accompanied by a parent or guardian. For spectacle wearers: As we do not have optical glasses in the diving masks, please bring contact lenses. For beard wearers: Unfortunately, water will always get into the diving mask due to a snowy nose, so it is best to trim the snowy nose a little. Important: Do not fly 24 hours after diving! In the SSI Basic Diver course you will learn the skills and knowledge to dive to a depth of 12 meters together with an SSI Professional. It's a great way to discover even more of the underwater world on your way to becoming a diver. If you decide to take the next step in your diving adventure within 6 months and complete a Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver course, your Basic Diver course will be fully credited.

Night & Limited Visibility Explorer

"Night diving is pure excitement, adventure and fascination!" The underwater world is a new and unknown world for us. Diving at night means rediscovering this fascinating world and looking at it with different eyes. With good equipment and an underwater lamp adapted to the circumstances, you may even be lucky enough to see crepuscular fish hunting. Of course, every night dive is a little adventure, especially in tropical waters, as you can only see what is illuminated by the light of your own diving lamp and that of your diving partner. The basic prerequisite for your NIGHT / LIMITED VISIBILITY adventure is good coordination and generally good diving skills, which will also be improved during the two dives required. If you master these, plan your night dive well and have the right equipment with you, you will be rewarded with dives of a special kind.
