No dive spot takes longer than 45 minutes, with most of the best ones within 10 minutes reach. For beginners as well as for the “very experienced ones” – we've got it all. From beautiful shallow coral gardens, over submerged mountains or steep walls and overhangs - to our channels with strong currents where you can see sharks.The most spectacular places of the atoll are Guraidhoo Corner, Cocoa Corner and Kandooma Thila. Here you find a cleaning station for sharks, eagle rays, Napoleons and huge turtles on the reef top too. On the Western outside reefs, you are accompanied by a big school of batfish during the entire dive. If there is even the slightest doubt, we cannot let you into the water. If you have pre-existing conditions and it can lead to complications from diving, this diving fitness certificate is mandatory. This includes heart diseases (e.g. heart disease or high blood pressure), respiratory diseases and injuries (e.g. asthma, pneumothorax and lung diseases), conditions that can lead to unconsciousness (e.g. epilepsy and diabetes). Otherwise you will sign a self-disclosure on spot.Diving Insurance: Please also check with your travel insurance if they cover diving accidents with decompression treatments. React Right is SSI's emergency first responder course and provides the knowledge and practical skills to act as a first responder in a medical emergency. In this flexible course, you can choose your subject areas, such as initial assessment, first aid, CPR and stabilization techniques. You will learn more about administering emergency oxygen and using the defibrillator (AED). With a combination of theory and practical exercise scenarios, this course will give you important tools and confidence to provide emergency assistance. Once certified, you will be able to act as a first aider, administer first aid and CPR, administer oxygen and provide AED support. You will learn how to recognize stress, avoid accidents and apply practical techniques for performing rescues and emergency care. With a combination of pool and open water training, you will be well and safely prepared to deal with emergency and rescue situations. After completing the course, you will receive the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue Specialty certification....Please note: cost only includes learning material and certification.
