Independent Diver

The SSI Independent Diving course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to dive safely and comfortably without a designated dive buddy using redundant gas supplies. The course involves 1 pool/confined water session to assess the basic diver skills and then three open water training dives. During the training dives, you will learn about the necessary skills and equipment requirements to be able to dive solo.
