Through online learning and open and confined water dives, the SSI Scuba Diver course provides you with the perfect foundation to become an independent and safe diver. You will learn everything you need for open water dives at a maximum depth of 12 meters together with an SSI Professional. With this course, you will complete about half of the Open Water Diver course and upgrade your certification later. All you have to do is complete the remaining theory and limited open water units as well as two training dives in open water.

The SSI Extended Range Nitrox course provides you with a thorough introduction to the concepts, techniques and procedures required when planning decompression dives with Nitrox. Designed as a stand-alone program or as a stepping stone to becoming an SSI Extended Range Diver, this enriched air diving course teaches the fundamental skills for all future technical courses. It prepares the diver to plan and execute dives with decompression limits to a maximum depth of 40 meters using an XR sidemount or dual unit. In addition, this advanced Nitrox course teaches you the techniques and procedures for using breathing gases up to 50% oxygen for decompression.
