Independent Diver / Solo diver. This SSI course is for highly experienced divers who are interested in being taught diving techniques and equipment requirements to become more self-reliant as divers and independent. Enable you to prevent and/or solve problems. It is not intended for everyone to dive on their own, but for some divers this specialty is really good. For example, diving instructors and divemasters often technically dive alone, because they don't have a buddy to help them in an emergency. Not only divers planning to dive solo, but also dive instructors, photographers, videographers, tec divers and other experienced divers diving without a ready buddy to hand will benefit from this course. The course covers when solo diving can be applied and how this differs from diving under the buddy system.
