As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your bottom times and safety margins, plus shorten your surface intervals - so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting! In this program, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge whilst learning how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion, you will earn an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification. The Enriched Air Nitrox Diver course is the most popular specialty course and it's easy to understand why. Nitrox means more time underwater, especially on repetitive dives. We are NOT learning to dive deeper, but we are learning how to extend our bottom times and stay down longer. DEEP DIVING AFTER YOUR OW COURSE Maybe you're looking for something a little deeper, then you should take a Deep Diver course! Independent Diver / Solo diver. This SSI course is for highly experienced divers who are interested in being taught diving techniques and equipment requirements to become more self-reliant as divers and independent. Enable you to prevent and/or solve problems. It is not intended for everyone to dive on their own, but for some divers this specialty is really good. For example, diving instructors and divemasters often technically dive alone, because they don't have a buddy to help them in an emergency. Not only divers planning to dive solo, but also dive instructors, photographers, videographers, tec divers and other experienced divers diving without a ready buddy to hand will benefit from this course. The course covers when solo diving can be applied and how this differs from diving under the buddy system. It is an introduction to "independent diving" (self-help) diving where the diver develops the skills, builds the knowledge and learns the techniques necessary for you to be able to rely on yourself. Diving alone involves additional risks, speaks for itself. In part, you simply have to accept these risks, but you can also manage many risks. Photo and Video Purpose: Underwater photography is one of the most popular dive specialties and the advent of digital underwater photography equipment has made it easier and more fun than ever. Photography takes your diving to a new level while giving you the opportunity to share your experiences through your photos. You will learn digital photo and one for video filming. We at VDS focus on digital photography both in terms of stills and video. Content: The course includes two dives for at least one day. During the course you will learn, both theoretically and practically, how your digital camera works under the surface and what to think about regarding settings, shutter speeds, light, flashes, etc. We also train on diving techniques and, among other things, how to correctly relate to your photo object. This specialty is mandatory training for most SSI Professional programs, as well as for some Extended Range programs, and is an important way to expand your diving knowledge. Online, you can take your SSI Science of Diving specialty certification from the comfort of your home and get ready to begin your career as a diver. When you're done, you'll be halfway to earning the coveted SSI Divemaster credential and obtaining the SSI Science of Diving specialty certification.

Mostly you stay shallower and is a very nice bay to dive in where it will not be more than 6-7 meters deep! Gathering at VDS 08:00 we leave when everyone is in place and everything is packed and home about 18:00. Carpool, bring a food bag and we will stop at McDonald / Max on the way home. The Assistant Instructor rating is the next step after becoming a Divemaster in the diving instructor program. It allows you to gain valuable teaching experience, practice briefings, teach academic subjects and conduct in-water training. If you want to continue your career as a diver, you can complete the instructor course, pass the instructor evaluation and become an Open Water Diving Instructor.

Become a dive instructor and live your passion To participate in the SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC), you must be a certified Divemaster or have an equivalent qualification. This comprehensive program is part of SSI's two-step instructor training. It starts with a combination of instructor training, supported by immersive digital learning.
