If you can't decide which specialty program is best for you, join the SSI Advanced Adventure Program! This program allows you to experience a variety of specialties before committing to a full specialty program. It's a great way to experience what advanced diver training is all about and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures. During the Advance Adventure Program, you'll experience five different specialties. After a comprehensive briefing with an SSI Instructor, you'll complete one open water training dive per specialty. With this specialty diving experience program, you have complete freedom to explore your adventure. At any time in the future, you can apply your Advanced Adventure training as credit toward the Specialty program.

As a Nitrox Diver, you can increase your dive time and safety margin and reduce surface breaks, so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting! In this program, you'll learn new skills and improve your diving knowledge as you learn how to plan and dive safely with enriched air up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion, you'll be SSI Nitrox 32% or 40% certified.

The Dive Guide program is the first step in an exciting journey. Learn to safely lead certified divers in a variety of environments and conditions. Through dive briefings, site assessments and leading dives, you'll become a confident dive guide. You can start your diving career as a professional dive guide or continue on to divemaster certification.

The SSI TriScuba program is the best way to experience scuba diving for the first time. You'll enjoy unforgettable first breaths underwater and experience the magic of scuba diving under the protection of an instructor in confined waters. After this short course and receiving your SSI Tri-Scuba certification card, you'll be eager to dive again. Endless scuba diving adventures are waiting for you. The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue specialty program teaches you the skills you need to protect yourself and other divers. You will learn how to identify stress, how to prevent accidents and be taught practical techniques to conduct rescues and provide emergency care. With a combination of pool and open water practice sessions, you will become well prepared and confident at handling emergency and rescue situations. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification.
