Help your divers prepare for dry suit diving while developing your ability to teach and assess the skills involved.
At Corals & Shells, the instructor programme turns your personal dry suit experience into structured teaching: explaining equipment, demonstrating skills, recognising student difficulties, providing corrections and assessing readiness.
Training covers programme standards and teaching materials, suit preparation and care, and methods for teaching air management, buoyancy, body position and responses to equipment-related problems.
Who is this programme for?
Open Water Instructors who meet SSI eligibility requirements and hold the Dry Suit Diving specialty certification or an accepted equivalent.
Candidates who fulfil the training, assessment and professional registration requirements earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty Instructor qualification.
Candidates must provide a suitable dry suit and appropriate undergarments. Dry suit rental is not currently available at CAS.
Contact us with your current qualifications and dry suit experience to discuss entry requirements, scheduling and fees.
