The SSI Open Water Diver is the globally recognized certification that allows you to dive independently with a buddy to a depth of 18 meters. The Hunsfels offers impressive depths of up to 54 meters, making it a hotspot for challenging dives. The absolute highlight, however, is the visibility: Thanks to the nutrient-poor water, you can often enjoy perfect visibility of 10 to 20 meters, almost reminiscent of alpine mountain lakes. You glide through crystal-clear blue and have the massive steep walls and the underwater world in razor-sharp focus at all times.

Every second Sunday of the month, we get together for a group dive day. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, at ESS the focus is on having fun, diving together, and connecting with like-minded people.The dive site will be announced in advance and is subject to weather, visibility, and current on-site conditions. Guests are welcome—advance registration is required.

In this refresher course, you’ll review and practice the diving skills from your Open Water Diver program under the guidance of an SSI Professional.
