TÜV Compressed Air Cylinders
All diving and compressed air cylinders must be presented for inspection every 30 months. This also applies to aluminum and steel cylinders.
To help you understand how an inspection is conducted at our facility, we’ve summarized the process below. Perform a visual inspection of the tank (external condition, compliance)
- Disassembling the Cylinder (Valve and Accessories)
- Testing the valve for proper function and compliance
- Include the technical specifications of the tank
- Weighing
- Inspect internal condition; clean interior if necessary
- Internal inspection: examination of the internal condition by an expert
- For strength testing, fill the cylinder with “test water,” mount the cylinder on the testing device, and observe at test pressure; release the pressure; remove the cylinder from the testing device; empty the cylinder; and dry thoroughly on the drying rack.
- Reinstall the valve and accessories
- Apply the inspection stickers provided by DEKRA
Regulator
The regulators are completely disassembled for servicing.
Fixed components are cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, and all replaceable or defective parts
are being changed.
Only original parts and maintenance kits are used for this purpose.
The final exam and test report are completed using our Pressure Guard test bench.
and created.
