Dive The Philippines

Registration is open as we make a 14 day special trip (10 days of diving) to the Philippines next January on a Aggressor Adventures live-a-board. for some great wreck, reef, muck diving for 12 or more experienced divers. This extended itinerary combines the Philippines’ most iconic wreck and reef diving regions. On 24 September 1944, a squadron of US bombers appeared above the Japanese fleet hiding in Coron’s natural harbour and opened fire. The bombers’ fierce attack was viciously victorious, sinking ten ships in just fifteen minutes. Now with a new lease on life, these ships are well-preserved underwater sites, a boon to scuba diving in the Philippines and contributing to Coron’s world reputation. This itinerary also includes diving at Apo Reef Natural Park, the largest coral reef in the Philippines, located in Occidental Mindoro, which is also the world's second-largest contiguous coral reef system after Australia's Great Barrier Reef. This protected area features two large atoll-like reefs, a deep channel, and is a biodiversity hotspot with abundant corals and marine life, making it a premier dive destination and a potential UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Batangas, our diving around Verde Island delivers adrenaline-filled currents, large schools of fish, and impressive pelagic life. Verde Island is a volcanic island located in the Verde Island Passage and is known as the "Center of the Center of Marine Biodiversity" due to its incredibly rich coral reefs and marine life. Guests will also visit Anilao, often called the birthplace of Philippine diving, famous for its rich marine biodiversity, vibrant coral reefs, and unparalleled opportunities for underwater macro photography. Select itineraries may also visit protected areas near Malajon and Dimipac Islands, offering a rare opportunity to observe dugongs in their natural habitat. All diving is conducted from tenders. Must arrive on Coron's Francisco B Reyes Airport January 2, 2027 as dive trip starts Jan 3 and ends Jan 13 with ground transportation to Manila for return to your home. Transportation to Coron and back home is not included. Airport transfers $30 per person. $500 per person deposit, double occupancy. Let us know if you have interest and start saving for the trip.
