Become a Lionfish hunter with the SSI Invasive Species Management specialty! In this course you will learn how to safely remove lionfish with a special spear called an ELF. Lionfish are an invasive species in the Caribbean because they do not occur naturally in this ecosystem, have no natural predators, reproduce rapidly and feed on native fish.
