SAFARI EGYPT Wrecks and Reefs of the North

SAFARI EGYPT Wrecks and Reefs of the North

This is the northernmost route of the Red Sea. It was created not only for wreck diving enthusiasts, but also for lovers of the beautiful reefs of the Red Sea, of which there will be no shortage on our way. Eager divers will have the opportunity to complete a wreck diving course. We will start the safari with check dives near Hurghada. On the second day we will head towards the Steel Reef (Abu Nuhas), which has taken a sizable toll of as many as five vessels. There we will make three dives, dispelling myths about the small number of marine animals inhabiting the wrecks. On the Steel Reef it will be possible to meet a stingray, barracuda, turtle, hornbill, and with luck even a dolphin. However, the Northern Safari is not only wrecks - we will also dive in the beautiful Ras Mohammed Marine National Park and its colorful reefs. Let's not forget about the numerous night dives, during which we will look for colorful nudibranch snails, lilyfish, hermit crayfish, feathered worms and snakeheads. On the way back towards Hurghada awaits us the famous SS "Thistlegorm", which, sunk in 1941 by German bombers, has become a veritable museum of World War II. We usually arrive at the wreck in the afternoon, and it is also possible to make an unforgettable night dive at this site. On the penultimate day we visit the beautiful reefs around Safaga, such as Panorama and AbuKafan, as well as the wreck of the Salem Express. On the last day we will visit the gorgonian forests surrounding Giftun Island and, often referred to as the "Aquarium", the Gota Aburamada Reef. The minimum grade required is OWD/P1 and a minimum of 20 dives experience.

VIII Rally of Underwater Photographers on Vis The Rally of Underwater Photographers on VIS ISLAND IN CROATIA Are you an underwater photographer or are you planning to become one? The Photographers' Rally on Vis is the best breeding ground for talent, a place and time where you will gain maximum knowledge and inspiration! In our diving base Nautica Vis Diving Center we organize every year a meeting integrating the community of Polish underwater photographers. The schedule of the week is usually tight to the limit: each day we swim to the positions at least twice, jump into the water, spending so much time in one place until the battery drain indicator starts blinking or the message about the lack of space on the card appears, then we return to the base to dress up the photos until late at night, discuss what could be done better, polish them in Lightroom and finally - enjoy them! The dive sites available on Visa offer great opportunities. Photographers get a unique chance to hone their skills in terms of wreck photography, cave photography, macro photography... Full choice! Not to mention the pleasant social aspect, for which the base facilities are also very well prepared ☺ Each underwater photographer is a separate story, they differ in their approach (although mostly they treat it as a hobby), and - most importantly - in style. Their photos are the result of a compilation of eye, mind, chosen equipment, outdoors and processing. The final result is a brilliantly composed, atmospheric image whose style is unmistakably recognized by knowledgeable admirers. This can be perfectly observed on the blog http://fotografpodwodny.pl/ This season there will again be an opportunity to meet and work on a common wave! The Nautica Vis Diving Center base will host the next edition of the Foto Projekt. This will be the eighth Underwater Photographers Meeting in the history of the base on the Vis! We invite you together with Irena Stangierska Photography, Fotopodwodna.pl, Fotograf Podwodny and sponsors for a week of diving, photography and conversation. The meeting is not a commercial course or workshop. There will be no lecturers or course participants. However, we hope for another exchange of experience and diving and social integration of the community of underwater photographers and filmmakers.Greetings Piotr Stós, Dominika Aleksanderek and the Nautika Crew
