The SSI Independent Diver specialty course is a course designed to train divers to dive independently, without compromising the safety factor. Self-sufficiency will be the key to this course. By not carrying a heavy tank on your back, you will feel more comfortable in the water and see your hydrodynamics and horizontal trim position improve effortlessly. By using less energy, you can reduce your air consumption, so you can make better use of your dive time. Description Have you always wanted to know exactly how air gets into scuba cylinders? Then this is the course for you. In two webinars, we explain the basic operation of compressors, without depending on a specific model. This includes, on the one hand, what happens in a compressor and, on the other hand, filling practice: what steps should be followed? What is the function of the filter? And what maintenance intervals should you check? The course does not include SSI material, only the SSI digital certification.
