During the DM internship, you will complete the Science of diving specialty and get additional diving knowledge to be able to assist with the SSI courses and be able to conduct excursion dives with Open Water Diver students. Additionally, you will be able to qualify as a training specialist for ecology courses. You will spend the extra time learning about the work in the dive center. You'll join us at our dives, you will get hands-on experience with everyday operations at the center, get a lot of practice working with real customers and we’ll make sure to push your diving skills to another level. The requirements for this course is to be a Dive Guide with 60 logged dives but don’t worry, if you need to, we can get you there before you start. SSI Dive Guide is the first professional level in diving. You learn how to lead certified divers and conduct snorkeling tours. SSI Divemaster is the second professional level in diving with more theoretical diving knowledge required. You can do the same as Dive Guide plus you will be able to assist on SSI courses and can become an ecology programs training specialist. This level is a prerequisite for assistant instructor rating and for other continuing professional diving education programs. We try to conduct our courses based on an individual approach to fulfill the different needs of each of the candidates. We can offer to teach you how to be a dive professional from A to B, meaning that at the end of your internship you would know everything from compressor usage to customer service. The SSI Scuba Diver program, which utilizes online instruction, confined space dives and open water dives, is the perfect foundation for gaining diver confidence and safety. With an SSI professional, you'll learn everything you need to dive in open water to depths of up to 12 meters. In this program, you will complete almost half of the training in the Open Water Diver course and can easily increase your certification. Just complete the remaining academic lessons and confined water training and two open water training dives.

SSI Specialty Instructor certification is very easy. The training is the same as for the instructor level, except that you register for each specialty seminar you would like to teach. You can also teach your desired specialty program with an experienced instructor, or you can ask SSI directly to review your experience. If you teach enough specialization programs, you automatically qualify for Advanced Open Water Instructor certification.

In the SSI Basic Diver program, you'll learn the skills and knowledge you need to try diving down to 12 meters with an SSI professional. It's a great way to try scuba diving and explore the underwater world around you more thoroughly. The entire Basic Diver program can be counted towards the Scuba Diver or Open Water Dive programs over the next 6 months, so you can easily continue your diving adventure.

React Right SSI is a first aid course that provides you with the training and knowledge needed to provide first aid in the event of a medical emergency. In this flexible diving program, you can choose which topics you want to learn, including primary assessment, first aid, CPR and primary stabilization techniques. You can also learn about administering oxygen in diving emergencies and the basics of using an automated external defibrillator (AED). With a combination of theoretical sections and practical training scenarios, this program will give you the tools and confidence you need to respond in emergency situations. By the time you gain certification, you will be able to act as a paramedic, provide first aid and CPR, administer oxygen and provide AED support in a medical emergency. If you can't decide which specialty is the best choice for you, sign up for the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program! In this program, you can try out different specializations before deciding on the fully specialized programs. It's a great way to get a feel for what advanced diver training entails and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver program, you will try 5 different specializations. In each specialization, you will complete one open water training dive after a detailed briefing with an SSI instructor. With this trial program of specializations, you will have complete freedom when diving. At any time in the future, you can take the complete specialization programs and count your Advanced Open Water Diver training towards them.

There's nothing like wreck diving, and SSI Wreck Diving's specialization will give you all the skills and knowledge you need to become a safe and confident wreck diver. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and confined water diving, you will learn how to safely conduct non-penetration wreck dives to depths of up to 30 meters. You will also practice your wreck diving skills during open water training dives. All this will ensure that you enjoy wreck diving with confidence and get the most out of every dive. SSI's specialized Diver Stress and Rescue program teaches you the skills you need to protect yourself and other divers. You will learn how to recognize stress, how to prevent accidents, and learn practical techniques for performing rescue procedures and providing emergency assistance. Through a combination of pool and open water training, you will be well prepared and confident in dealing with emergency and rescue situations.
