There is a split in the middle of the reef and care needs to be taken towards the end of the reef where a washing machine effect can sometimes be present. The reef is fabulously colorful! Amed Jepun Divers, 80852 Amed, Karangasem Liberty Coral Garden (★4.5) There is a garden of anemones and about 60 statues on the far right side of the dive site. This is a nice second dive in the morning to get away from the crowds at Liberty Wreck. Entry and exit from the beach can be difficult. SANCTUM UNA UNA, 94683 Tojo Una-Una Pinnacle 2 (★4.5) A large pinnacle starting at 5 metres and extending beyond 60, which sits 5 minues from Sanctum Una Una Dive Resort. A safe spot for beginner divers to practice to 12 metres as well as a good drop off point for more experienced divers to explore nearby deeper pinnacles, such as Satellite. Yoeri D. Current: Generally mild; occasional medium currents suitable for drift diving Aqualung Decorator Bay (★4.3) This dive site offers a diverse underwater experience, ranging from a shallow depth of 3.5 meters to 14 meters. Ideal for both course dives and recreational divers, it begins with a sandy bottom, perfect for training, leading into a captivating mix of soft and hard coral in the bay area. Mares Shark Airport (★4.5) The sloping, terrace-like area of the reef, found at 20 meters, is the highlight of this dive site. This is where several whitetip reef sharks can be spotted all at once. This dive site is very remote and only accessible by a liveaboard boat. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Batu Mumbang (★4.5) Location: Small rock island - 3mins boat drive on the North East point of Juara Bay; Depth18m; Current: Sometimes there is a mild current; Site: Two rocky islands to breach the surface water descending to the sandy bottom bay at 18m. The site has large boulder corals, rocky coral scape, overhangs, and small walls. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Hardeep Wreck (SS Suddhadib) เรือจมสุทธาทิพย์ (★4.1) The Wreck of the Steamship Suddhadib, or commonly known as Hardeep Wreck, is the most famous dive site in Samaesarn. This old steam cargo ship was bombed and sunk on 1 June 1945 during WWII. She lies on her starboard side at a depth of 27 meters. Scubapro Lekuan 1 (★4.5) Located in the middle of the coral triangle at Bunaken National Park, this dive site is a wall dive thriving with marine life like beautiful corals, sponges, and more! Perfect for freediving, scuba diving, and snorkeling as well. Scubapro Shelter Cove (★4.4) Used for open water courses. Depth range 3m to 12 m. Sandy bay with a small swim-through going to Coral Garden. Plate and whip coral as you go deeper. SSI Service Center India, 400709 Navi Mumbai Whitehouse Rock (★4.5) A unique dive that teems with marine life on a seamount rising from the bottom at 40 metres to almost all the way up to the surface. A thriving coral reef system. Amed Jepun Divers, 80852 Amed, Karangasem Ghost Bay (★4.5) One minute from the closest dive center, Ghost bay is another great macro dive site, paradise for photographers by day and by night. A rock shaped area is habitat for crazy critters! Extra Divers Qantab, 100 Muscat Mermaid Cove (★4.4) Mermaid cove, is approximately 15 minutes far from the Dive Centre, sandy bottom between 2 to 5 m offer the best location for try dives and courses, a beautiful coral garden is located on the right inside of the bay from 2 m down to 14 m depth. Outside the bay a rich drop off can take you to 23 m. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Whale Shark Wall, Ko Phi Phi (★4.2) Situated on the east side of Phi Phi Ley, Palong Bay is the next bay north of the famous Maya Bay, made famous by the movie “The Beach.” This dive is relatively easy and is rarely affected by currents. The dive heads south from Palong Bay towards Maya Bay. Mares Perhentian Tokong Laut (★4.4) Tokong Laut, or Tukun Laut, is a pinnacle located off Susu Dara Besar. It is considered the ultimate dive site around the Perhentians, with a myriad of Hard and Soft Coral around the sloping wall of the pinnacle. Current can be strong, and descents are usually deep except for a few spots. Mares Tanjung Parigi (★4.4) Located in the middle of the coral triangle at Bunaken National Park, this dive site is a wall dive thriving with marine life like beautiful corals, sponges, and more! Perfect for freediving, scuba diving, and snorkeling as well. Mares Mandolin (★4.5) Located in the middle of the coral triangle at Bunaken National Park, this dive site is a wall dive thriving with marine life like beautiful corals, sponges, and more! Perfect for freediving, scuba diving, and snorkeling as well. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Bill's Bumps (★4.5) Bill’s Bumps located in the west wall of Fahal Island, its about 30 minutes boat ride. If you continue diving in shallow water by the wall you can find tunnels and holes and go inside. iDIVE Komodo, 86554 Labuan Bajo Tatawa Kecil (★4.7) Tatawa Kecil is another great dive site in central Komodo National Park for those who love and know currents. As currents can be very strong, this dive spot is for experienced divers only. This spot offers great visibility, pelagic fish, small creatures, and a beautiful coral reef. Aqualung Maaya Thila, North Ari Atoll (★4.5) Once this dive site was on the top 10 best in the world. Due to this rating many divers dived this site and specially at night. The damage on the top of this Thila (diver error) is bad, but as from 12m acceptable. At night many giant trevally and some white tips hunting. V2 Dive, 10300 Bangkok Hin Pleng West (★4.1) Rayong Pinnacle is also known as Alhambra Rock or Hin Plerng. These dive sites are the most famous in Rayong. They have two pinnacles, west and east. The pinnacle is covered with a variety of coral species and groups of fish are commonly found in this area. V2 Dive, 10300 Bangkok Hin Pleng East (★4.1) Rayong Pinnacle or Alhambra Rock or Hin Plerng. What ever you called. These dive site is the most famous in Rayong. There have two pinnacle, west and east pinnacle. The pinnacle is cover with variety of coral species and group of fishes are commonly found. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Molas Shipwreck (★4.4) This dive site is located on the mainland of Manado and can be classified as muck diving. It takes 15 minutes to get to this dive site. It’s the perfect dive site to see small critters. Aqualung Muthafushi Thila (★4.3) Muthafushi Thila is a small pinnacle dive site. This site is great for avid photographers and those who enjoy diving slow and looking around to discover all the life this reef has to offer. French Kiss Divers Malapascua, 6013 Malapascua Capitancillo Island (★4.4) THERE IS ONE LARGE OBLONG REEF WITH A CHAIN OF THREE BLOCKS STREATCHING SOUTHWARDS.THE EAST SIDE SHELVES TO 15M. AND CATCHES ENOUGH CURRENT TO BE QUITE COLOURFUL. THE MOORING AREA IS WELL PROTECTED FROM THE SEA, CURRENT IS USUALLY MILD FROM THE NORTH. Sea Turtle Divers, 82220 Phang Nga Koh Bon, North Ridge (★4.2) Nice shallow area for diving with a slightly sloping reef. You can swim from the North Ridge over the West Ridge and into the bay. Aqualung Pura Vida House Reef (★4.4) In this amazing Macro diving spot, you will find a couple of boats and cars that were sunk in the muck created a very interestiy dive site on the beautiful black sand Amed Jepun Divers, 80852 Amed, Karangasem Kubu Reef (★4.4) Great and easy dive site. Access from beach. Beautiful corals and contrast with black sand on the bottom. Perfect dive after Boga Wreck. Good for all levels. iDIVE Komodo, 86554 Labuan Bajo Sebayur Kecil Komodo (★4.6) Sebayur Kecil is a sloping reef. This dive spot is suitable for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills as well as for snorkelers. Usually no to light current is present. Great dive site for searching for small inhabitants, yet deeper down divers can spot different sharks. Marius D. Mares, Janez Kranjc Five Rocks (★4.4) This dive site is quite unique in the fact that the pinnacle has split into five pieces over thousands of years of erosion. The pieces of pinnacle lay at depths of between 12m and 40m. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Bathalaa Thila (★4.4) Bathala Thila is a submerged pinnacle east of the resort island Bathala Island. The reef top is about 40 m long and begins at a depth of about 6–10 m. It is covered with anemones and soft and hard corals. Overhangs from 10 to 20 m deep surround the reef. Aqualung Jissah Point (★4.5) Dynamic dive site with one or two-way options starting from the marina and extending towards Shangri-La Resort. Beginning at 8 meters with boulders adorned with soft purple gorgonian, it transitions to a slope with soft corals, cushion sea stars, and a sandy bottom at 9 meters. Sea Bees Diving, 83130 Phuket Anemone Reef (★4.3) Super divesite with plenty of fish. This submerged pinnacle is completely covered in softcorals and anemones and home to a great variety of species. Koh Tao Divers, 84360 Koh Tao HTMS Sattakut 742, Wreck (★4.4) The HTMS Sattakut is a wreck that rests at a max depth of 35m, with the top of the tower at 18m. The wreck is 48 meters in length and lies just south of a neighboring pinnacle dive site, Hin Pee Wee, a favorite destination for safety and deco stops after exploring the wreck. Nermin S. Anilao Bo Hotel & Beach Resort, 4202 Mabini, Batangas Ligpo Pinnacle (★4.1) Located just off Ligpo Island, Ligpo Pinnacle is protected by the Bauwan Marine Sanctuary. Most divers use the diving operation conducted at Anilao Pier to reach this dive site. The site is 20 minutes away from Anilao Pier by Philippine traditional boat. This is a great wall dive with depths of 12 to 35 meters. DivePoint Hudhuran Fushi, 20193 Male Maldives Victory (Wreck) (★4.5) The Maldives Victory is a cargo ship that sank in 1981 just off of the island of Male City and the airport island. This 80m long cargo ship sunk while on its way from Singapore carrying goods for the resort islands. Hobo-Ya Similan, 83120 Phuket Anita’s Reef (★4.1) A soothing dive site on the east side of islands 5 and 6 in the Similan Islands. This site is a rolling reef slope along the edge of the island from a shallow depth of 5-6m to around 25m. Big Blue Diving, 84360 Koh Tao Hin Pee Wee (★4.5) Large rock formations and smaller pinnacles (shallowest point is about 7m). Lots of soft corals and whip corals. Gets to 22m+. Not a lot to see if limited to 12m. Next HTMS Sattakut wreck and can both be dived in the same dive. 12...10→
