Scubapro Paliton Sanctuary (★4.5) Paliton Sanctuary is a wall dive starting from a depth of 5 m, going all the way to 50m. This makes it an ideal dive site for every level. Beautiful and intact coral gardens are found with lots of little macro critters. Mares, Janez Kranjc Kalipayan, Bohol (★4.4) Kalipayan is a wall dive located close to Alona Beach-Bohol Panglau within 4-5 minutes to the closest dive centers. The dive begins in a sandy aera at five meters and then proceeds by dropping over the vertical wall. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Arco Point (★4.4) A wall drift dive with good visibility and medium to strong current. A wonderful spot for both advanced and beginner divers. This spot will ease you into wall diving. DiveGurus Diving Services Corp., 5608 Manoc Manoc Balinghai Wall (★4.4) Balinghai Wall is 15-20 minutes boat ride from most Boracay dive shops. The dive site has a steep coral slope running parallel to the shore line. Starting depth is 8 meters to a maximum depth of 25 meters. The extent of the wall is about 800 meters long. There are artificial reef balls in the deep part. Mares, Janez Kranjc Tongo Sanctuary (★4.2) Tongo Sanctuary is a protected marine area featuring a steep wall dive with depths ranging from 5 to 55 meters and visibility between 15 to 25 meters. The site boasts vibrant hard and soft corals, small caves, and minimal currents, making it suitable for divers of all levels. Elias P. (#2102022) Pescador South (★4.3) The south side of Pescador Island offers calm, safe entry points ideal for both divers and snorkelers. Protected from strong waves, it’s perfect during rough sea conditions. The area allows for east or west drift dives and provides adventure in shallow, manageable depths. Amun Ini Dive, 6311 Anda Dapdap (★4.5) Sloping wall to a muck bottom at about 25m/80ft. Great for macro photography along the bottom with plenty of nudibranchs and other small creatures. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Maite Marine Sanctuary (★4.6) Southwest of the island along the beach road of San Juan in Siquijor you will find a cemetery. Maite in the Visayan dialect means cemetery, lending this dive site its name. Mactan Scuba Dive Centre, 6015 Lapu Lapu City Nalusuan Island (★4.1) Located just off the bottom of Olango Island the Nalusuan site takes around 30 minutes to reach from Mactan. It offers a large sflat flat descending to a deep wall with superb corals. Also shallow reefs and walls on the southern end of the marine park. Aqualung Doljo House Reef (★4.4) This dive site is found at Barangay Doljo, the most northwest point and ultimate tip of Panglao Island. This is a beautiful wall dive with vast amounts of coral and great macro sightings. BIGBOSS DIVE CEBU, 6015 Lapu-Lapu City Chapel Point (★4.5) The Lighthouse dive site in Cabilao Island, located west of Bohol, is a breathtaking diving destination known for its stunning coral formations, rich marine biodiversity, and excellent visibility. This site is ideal for intermediate to advanced divers who enjoy wall diving and drift diving. Mares Exotic Dive Resort house reef (★4.5) Exotic’s protected area where the fish are plentiful, this Reef is not to be missed. Starting at 5 meters and gently sloping to 13, it’s a great place to work out the kinks after some time out of the water. Amongst the scattered coral and patches of sea grass, a wide variety of fish and macro life can be found. Mares, Janez Kranjc Snapper’s Cave (★4.4) Wall with a cave down to 25m/80ft. Good for macro and wide angle photography. Good place to spot turtles and nudibranchs and frogfish plus the other reef fish. Scubapro Tubod (★4.6) A marine sanctuary with an area of over seven hectares of coral reef and sea grass. This site starts as a gentle sloping reef and is considered one of the best sites in Siquijor. HB ANDA SCUBA DIVING CENTER CORP., 6311 ANDA Bacong (★4.7) Bacong is a wall dive. Starts with a sandy slope which turns into a nice wall. 5 meters on top, dropping down to 30 meters. Some cracks and crevices in the wall. Mactan Scuba Dive Centre, 6015 Lapu Lapu City PCR (★4.3) A lovely wall dive with abundant local life and corals. The site is populated by human size statues of the 12 zodiac signs and other mythical beast. Scubapro, Stephen Frink LO-OC (★4.2) Lo-oc is a captivating wall dive site known for its rich marine biodiversity and underwater caverns. Decorated with colorful soft corals, it offers adventurous swim-throughs and varied topography. Suitable for all levels, Lo-oc promises a memorable dive experience. Hans E. (#3545391) Apo Island Marine Sanctuary (★4.4) To date, Apo Island is one of the most successful conservation stories in the Philippines. Marine Sanctuary was one of the first sanctuaries in the Philippines, where a maximum of only 15 divers are allowed at a time. Aqualung Tongo Point (★4.2) The gentle slope of this dive site starts at about 12m, going all the way to 65m. On some days you can encounter quite strong currents in Tongo Point. Elias P. (#2102022) Coco Grove House Reef (★4.6) A shallow slope makes this the perfect site for beginners. Just in front of Coco Grove resort, you will find a beautiful and colorful variety of coral and small fish. This site is easy to dive and not a lot of current. Aqualung Kan Oran Reef (★4.5) Slightly north of the Marine Sanctuary is a gentle wall dive that ‘Kan-Uran Point’ affords divers. Kan-uran means ’from the person,’ in the local Visayan dialect. Newbie fun divers can experience getting inside overhangs & ledges to explore an abundant gentle explosion of colorful soft & hard coral gardens. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Cogon (★4.5) Cogon means grass in the Filipino language. ‘Cogon Point’ was named after the grass used for roofing native houses that can be seen directly onshore, northeast of Apo Island. Mares, Janez Kranjc Garden Eels (★4.5) The Garden Eel dive site in Alona, Panglao is a sandy slope near the reef where colonies of garden eels can be seen swaying with the current as they feed on plankton. The site is shallow to moderate in depth, best enjoyed with slow, calm diving, and is often combined with nearby reef areas rich in macro life. Mactan Scuba Dive Centre, 6015 Lapu Lapu City Marigondon Beach (★4.2) An easy shore entry takes you to 3-8m/ 6 to 25 ft shallow reef ending in a vertical wall, descending to 40m+ depths. Ideal for all levels of divers, however care should be taken on outbound tides as the currents can be very strong. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Gato Island (★4.5) Gato Island is a well preserved marine reserve and sea snake sanctuary. This is one of the five famous dive sites on the Island. The site is a tunnel where you take a tour underneath the island. This site is best for more experienced divers/ Peter S. (#417559) Kimud Shoal (★4.8) After the tresher sharks disappeared from Monad Shoal for unknown reasons and moved to the Kimud Shoal, this is now one of the best dive sites in the world to see the rare and elusive tresher sharks. These sharks normally live in the deep but regularly come here for the cleaning stations at shallower depths. Hans E. (#3545391) Rock Point West (★4.4) Located on the southwest corner of Apo Island, Rock Point West is adjacent to it’s sibling Rock Point East. A steep slope leads you to a plateau towards the southern tip where the current gets stronger most of the time. DiveGurus Diving Services Corp., 5608 Malay Fridays Rock (★4.4) A dive at Fridays covers two divespots: Fridays Rock which is up to 18 meters deep and Fridays Reef which reaches 12 meters of depth. Its a very well visited divesite. E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Cordova reef (★4.2) Cordova Reef is a 15mins boat travel from EZDC Housereef. A slope terrain from shallow up to 21m/67 feet, then wall. Good for beginner and Advanced level divers. Dive Point Siquijor, 6227 San Juan, Siquijor Sawang (★4.4) This site has large boulders full of corals and marine life. Afterwhich, the bottom slowly changes to a sandy slope which leads to a small wall filled with coral. Hans E. (#3545391) Chapel Reef (★4.5) The Catholic Chapel at Apo Island can be seen from the dive site, hence the name. A stunning dive site that begins as a slope with scattered coral bommies leading to a steeper slope towards a wall overloaded with nook, crannies, cracks, crevices & caverns exposing overhangs graced by soft & hard corals. Mares Tambisan Wall (★4.2) A very relaxing and comfortalble dive. Great for every level of diver. Beautiful coral gardens. You will find the special black coral trees in the area. Mares Alona Reef (★4.5) Wreck dive locally called the Hagabat Wreck or Bohol Divers Wreck. Usually starts with a descent down a line close to a wall and then down the slope to the wreck. The top of the wreck is at 28M and the bow of the wreck is at 37M. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Danao Wall (★4.4) Danao Wall on Panglao Island, Bohol is a top dive site with vibrant corals, sponges, and sea fans on a dramatic wall that drops beyond 60m. Most dives stay around 15–25m, where visibility is excellent and volcanic rock formations add to the beauty. A must-dive in the Philippines. Aqualung Katipanan Reef (★4.4) A great dive site for new divers. This site is very easy to dive and the coral and sea turtles will just take your breath away. A beautiful slope that lets you see the far reaching coral gardens and if you look close, you will have the chance to see nudibranchs and a lot of colorful reef fish. Stephane C. (#3858207) Coconut Point (★4.5) A virtual washing machine experience awaits you at Coconut Point, an exciting dive site on the northern tip of Apo Island. The current can come at you literally from any side left, right, up, down & center. A sloping reef edging towards a rock wall. This site is best for experienced divers. Mares Rock Point East (★4.6) Rock Point East is a finger-shaped reef located on the southeast corner of Apo Island, primarily exposed to prevailing currents ensuring an abundance of reef fish, colorful coral formations, and occasional visits from pelagic species. DIVESTORY CORPORATION, 6015 LAPU - LAPU Pescador West / Cathedral (★4.4) Pescador Cathedral is a cave that has a vertical swim through offering views of the surface. The depth ranges from 5 to 65 meters with a visibility of 20 to 50 meters. Its chimney continues to around 16m depth. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Momo Beach (★4.5) A peaceful and scenic dive site known for its calm conditions and divers habitat. The site features a gently sloping sandy bottom interspersed with coral patches, seagrass areas, and small reef formations. Depths are generally shallow to moderate, making it suitable for beginners, training and relaxed dives. Dive Point Siquijor, 6227 Maite, San Juan Republika Coral Ridge (★4.8) Just in front of Republika Beach Bar is an area with abundance of corals which slowly goes down. Diving directions SWW you come to a ridge, with the deepest depth of 24m at the SWW end. Top of the ridge is 10m below the surface. DIVESTORY CORPORATION, 6015 LAPU - LAPU Pescador East (★4.4) Pescador Island’s east side, near Moalboal, Cebu, features a dive starting at a 5m plateau descending to 65m along a coral-covered slope. The dive concludes on a plateau rich in small marine life, also ideal for snorkeling. BLUE MONSTAR, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Abaca House Reef (★4.4) Blue Monsta Houseleaf is a five-minute drive from Maktan Newtown and you can see a variety of marine life, especially turtles, trigger fish, grouper, crown fish, trumpet fish, sardines, fan coral and seahorses. Dive Point Siquijor, 6227 San Juan, Siquijor Johnlhea Coral Garden (★4.7) One of the most popular shore entries in Siquijor is 1,3 kilometers south of San Juan town center. You will find on the right side the John Lhea Resort sign board. Turn in and check in at Dive Point DC which is located there for a shore dive in Coral Garden. A great site for a night dive. Hans E. (#3545391) Largahan (★4.5) Largahan is a very beautiful and diverse site. You will find a dark sandy area of coral gardens and volcanic rocks. This site is great for macro diving, like the whole of Apo Island. Mactan Scuba Dive Centre, 6015 Lapu Lapu City Palm Beach (★3.9) An easy shore entry takes you to 3-8m reefs ending in a vertical wall, descending to 40m+ depths. Ideal for all levels of divers, however care should be taken on outbound tides as the currents can be very strong. E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Marigondon Cave (★4.1) Marigondon Cave is the most exciting dive along the coast of Mactan Island, Cebu. It has a roof at around 29m/95ft and a floor of at about 40m/133ft. the diameter of the cave is near 10m/33ft. At the entry there is a small alcove. Sidemount or Twinset is a must diving in the area. Mares, Janez Kranjc Mystic coral garden (★4.7) The entry is walking, the approach is shallow for approximately 50 meters and the coral reefs start to drop off, it varies 6 meters to 30 meters to a gentle slope. The dive can be done in two sessions left and right, both completely different in topography. Mares Dive Point Coral reef (★4.7) It is located short swimming distance from the shore, just in front of Dive Point diving center. Drop of starts in coral rocks area at 5-6m and falling down to 25m. Fields of staghorn corals characterize this location in deeper part. Scubapro San Miguel (★4.4) Great coral formation right next to an awesome muck site. Rare nudibranchs like sheep nudis and seahorses abound this area as well as a variety of frogfishes and a promise of octopuses. 12→
