Mares, Janez Kranjc Tongo Sanctuary (★4.2) Tongo Sanctuary is a protected marine area featuring a steep wall dive with depths ranging from 5 to 55 meters and visibility between 15 to 25 meters. The site boasts vibrant hard and soft corals, small caves, and minimal currents, making it suitable for divers of all levels. Elias P. (#2102022) Pescador South (★4.3) The south side of Pescador Island offers calm, safe entry points ideal for both divers and snorkelers. Protected from strong waves, it’s perfect during rough sea conditions. The area allows for east or west drift dives and provides adventure in shallow, manageable depths. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Divers Heaven (★4.6) Divers Heaven is located in Balicasag Island , on the South side, it is about 30 minutes banka ride from Alona Beach. It a slope going to about 30 meters covered with hard and soft corals starting at ten meters. Amun Ini Dive, 6311 Anda Dapdap (★4.5) Sloping wall to a muck bottom at about 25m/80ft. Great for macro photography along the bottom with plenty of nudibranchs and other small creatures. KAN J. (#1337003) Talima (★4.1) large sandy slope dotted with corals till around 12-17m where the wall starts. There is a memorial for some long gone wooden wrecks at around 12. Nice corals, depth exceeds 40m and currents can be strong on an outbound tide. Aqualung San Vicente (★4.0) An extensive shield reef, 3 -10 m, with corals and soft corals till around 5-7 m, where the wall starts. Mactan Scuba Dive Centre, 6015 Lapu Lapu City Nalusuan Island (★4.1) Located just off the bottom of Olango Island the Nalusuan site takes around 30 minutes to reach from Mactan. It offers a large sflat flat descending to a deep wall with superb corals. Also shallow reefs and walls on the southern end of the marine park. Mares Exotic Dive Resort house reef (★4.5) Exotic’s protected area where the fish are plentiful, this Reef is not to be missed. Starting at 5 meters and gently sloping to 13, it’s a great place to work out the kinks after some time out of the water. Amongst the scattered coral and patches of sea grass, a wide variety of fish and macro life can be found. Mares, Janez Kranjc Snapper’s Cave (★4.4) Wall with a cave down to 25m/80ft. Good for macro and wide angle photography. Good place to spot turtles and nudibranchs and frogfish plus the other reef fish. Mares, Janez Kranjc Coral Garden (★4.4) Sharp wall down to 130ft/40m with large expanses of hard and soft corals on top. Can be current on the wall which makes a great drift dive along the wall. Scubapro Panorama Reef (★4.4) Sloping wall to sandy bottom at about 25m/80ft. Mix of hard and soft corals with lots of creatures throughout. About a 20 minute boat ride. Could be some current. Scubapro Tubod (★4.6) A marine sanctuary with an area of over seven hectares of coral reef and sea grass. This site starts as a gentle sloping reef and is considered one of the best sites in Siquijor. Mares, Janez Kranjc Kasai Wall (★4.3) Kasai Wall offer a shallow end with a beautiful scenery of many hundreds of coal species attracting many critters, reef fish and sea turtles. Over the edge of the reef a wall is formed dropping down to about 40m. At the bottom of the wall you can find the entry to the Kasai Cave that stretches about 140m in. Aqualung Kan Oran Reef (★4.5) Slightly north of the Marine Sanctuary is a gentle wall dive that ‘Kan-Uran Point’ affords divers. Kan-uran means ’from the person,’ in the local Visayan dialect. Newbie fun divers can experience getting inside overhangs & ledges to explore an abundant gentle explosion of colorful soft & hard coral gardens. Mares Marigondon Port (★3.8) Located to either side of Marigondon Port it offers short sandy flats then dropping off to deep sweeping walls. Often very strong currents and down-currents in the area. The constant boat traffic in the area requires good buoyancy control to remain at safe depths in some of the shallower areas. Mares, Janez Kranjc Hadsan (★4.3) The Hadsan is a very easy site to dive, where the dive is mainly done along a nice wall covered with different sponges and corals. it’s an easy dive along a wall covered with vibrant colors of soft corals, as well as many different species of colorful hard corals. Peter S. (#417559) Monad Shoal (★4.3) Monad Shoal is considered the best dive site in the world to see the rare and timid Thresher Sharks. These sharks normally live in the deep but regularly come here early in the morning for the cleaning station. The site is exposed and is susceptible to winds and currents, with strong tidal flows often experienced. Mactan Scuba Dive Centre, 6015 Lapu Lapu City Marigondon Beach (★4.2) An easy shore entry takes you to 3-8m/ 6 to 25 ft shallow reef ending in a vertical wall, descending to 40m+ depths. Ideal for all levels of divers, however care should be taken on outbound tides as the currents can be very strong. (#417559) Kimud Shoal (★4.8) After the tresher sharks disappeared from Monad Shoal for unknown reasons and moved to the Kimud Shoal, this is now one of the best dive sites in the world to see the rare and elusive tresher sharks. These sharks normally live in the deep but regularly come here for the cleaning stations at shallower depths. Its a very well visited divesite. Mares Alona Reef (★4.5) Wreck dive locally called the Hagabat Wreck or Bohol Divers Wreck. Usually starts with a descent down a line close to a wall and then down the slope to the wreck. The top of the wreck is at 28M and the bow of the wreck is at 37M. Stephane C. (#3858207) Coconut Point (★4.5) A virtual washing machine experience awaits you at Coconut Point, an exciting dive site on the northern tip of Apo Island. The current can come at you literally from any side left, right, up, down & center. A sloping reef edging towards a rock wall. This site is best for experienced divers. Dive Point Siquijor, 6227 Maite, San Juan Republika Coral Ridge (★4.8) Just in front of Republika Beach Bar is an area with abundance of corals which slowly goes down. Diving directions SWW you come to a ridge, with the deepest depth of 24m at the SWW end. Top of the ridge is 10m below the surface. BLUE MONSTAR, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Abaca House Reef (★4.4) Blue Monsta Houseleaf is a five-minute drive from Maktan Newtown and you can see a variety of marine life, especially turtles, trigger fish, grouper, crown fish, trumpet fish, sardines, fan coral and seahorses. Scubapro Apo Scuba House Reef (★4.6) One of the best spots for macro diving—ideal for spotting fascinating and tiny critters. Dauin is a paradise for underwater photographers and macro enthusiasts, offering black sand dive sites teeming with rare and exotic marine life. The area’s nutrient-filled waters create the perfect habitat for muck diving. E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City E&Z DIVE CENTER (★4.8) EZDC House reef is a white sand beach good for swimming, snorkeling and confined Open Water Diver training. It is a slight slope from shallow 3m/9.6feet upto 18m/59feet. A place rich for macro and wideangle photography. Cebu J Dive Center, 6015 Lapu-Lapu City Gilutungan Coral Plateau (★4.1) Hilutongan is 30mins. away from Jpark Marineboy Dive Center via Speedboat, and it is under the Municipal of Cordova, it is a small island close to Nalusuan E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Gilutungan Marine Sanctuary (★4.3) Gilutongan Island, also called Hilutungan Island, Hilotongan Island or Lutungan Island, lies 30 minutes by banka boat from Mactan Island. The island is home to numerous coral reefs and sea grass meadows. Aqualung LIGHT HOUSE (★4.5) This lighthouse is found on the southern tip of Cebu and is an amazing dive spot for beginners. You can get there easily from Santander, Liloan, or Oslob. Aqualung La Tortue House Reef (★4.8) Located at the southern end of the Dauin Poblacion District 1 Sanctuary, it offers amazing diving for beginners, advanced and expert divers with both muck and a big, healthy reef. There’s also a mini reef at 30m for Advanced Divers to enjoy. Hans E. (#3545391) El Dorado (★4.7) This is a favorite dive site for divers looking for dense fish. It is a coral recovery and conservation site that features different types of Artificial Reef designed to encourage coral growth. It is now home to a wide variety of fish species and coral species.
