Wairterang Wreck
★★★★★
(265)
After a short swim on a sandy area, we arrive on this Japanese ship wreck sunken during WW2. It lies between 12 and 33 meters and is about 50 meters long. It is covered with corals and is home to many species. The end of the dive is spent looking for seahorses and small critters on the sea grass area.
We can find trevallies, groupers, lionfishes, frogfishes, nudibranchs, batfishes and many different kind of shrimps and crabs.
