Many of you certainly have a good sense of direction, but unfortunately this will only help you to a limited extent under water, as humans have difficulty orienting themselves in this strange medium under certain circumstances. During the 2 dives of your NAVIGATION program, you will learn various ways of orienting yourself underwater using a compass or natural navigation and determining directions and distances. Night & Limited Visibility DescriptionDiving in limited visibility can be an adventure both during the day and at night! Night dives allow you to discover things you will never see during the day. The SSI Decompression Diving Specialty shows you how to dive beyond no-decompression limits. You will learn to plan and execute dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression using your recreational diving system and a single decompression tank. You will learn and practice how to effectively use the functions of your dive computer, such as gas exchange or gas integration, as well as remaining air time and ascent time.
