The Chicago (★3.9)
This was a 100-year-old liner that ran up on the rocks. It lies in 9 to 20 meters of water. The ship is well broken up, but there are some nice swim-throughs. You can still see the boiler engine and prop shaft.
This is an enjoyable drift dive. Drop in at either end depending on the direction of the tide. You can drift along the stoney bottom (15-20m) at a fair old rate. If you keep into the wall (north side), you can avoid most of the current.
Similar to other local sites, you can find seasquirts, a variety of crab and fish species, and near the end of the dive you may find a boulder field at approx 18m
