Outer Rock is a short 5-10 minute boat spin away from Kilkee pier. Depths range from 5m all the way down to 45 meters. It is actually possible to dive both Outer Rock and middle rock on the same dive as the join underwater at around 30m
Site is full of brown crabs, spider craps, lobsters, pollock, wrasse. Walls are covered in sponges and anemones
