The Chicago (★3.9)
This was a 100-year-old liner that ran up on the rocks. It lies in 9 to 20 meters of water. The ship is well broken up, but there are some nice swim-throughs. You can still see the boiler engine and prop shaft.
Céibh an Dóilín is a small sheltered pier just north of Trá an Doilín. This site is a great alternative for training in poor weather conditions as it is sheltered in all directions. However it does dry out at low water which must be noted. With a depth range at high tide of 5-10m this is a shallow level dive.
Beautiful kelp forests can be swam through here. Life in this area is limited due to its sheltered an dryout nature, however crab and sprat can be found on occasion.
