Illaunabaha
Illuanbatha is a beautiful reef dive a short boat trip North from Kilkee bay. Best dived before midday as the sun illuminates the reef wall. The east side of the reef starts at 12m with two slopes following the reef wall, one to 18-20m and the other to the rock field below at 25-30m.
Many crustaceans can be found hiding under rocks and in cracks, including brown crab, spider crab and lobster. The rocks and walls are home to many kinds of coral, sponge and anemones.
