Portroe Quarry has a lot to offer for both scuba and free divers. Depth ranges from 6m to 40m and great visibility, usually with more than 10m allows to perform interesting dives all year round. The quarry has many underwater attractions including cars, boats, mirrors, internet cafe and even a bar!
Portroe Quarry is very much an artificial dive site so lots of things to see but life is few and far between. There are on odd occasions life introduced to the quarry so it can depend.
