The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox program teaches you how to plan dives and safely dive with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen. Compared with air, diving with Nitrox increases no-decompression limits, increases safety and reduces surface interval times. On completion of this program, you will be awarded the Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% SSI Specialty certification. Prerequisites: minimum age 10 years, minimum open water diver Course content: Theory with reading of the online manual and review of knowledge.

The Perfect Buoyancy SSI program teaches you the skills and techniques you need to optimize your dives, increase your comfort underwater and optimize the use of your equipment. Upon completion of this program, you will be awarded the Perfect Buoyancy SSI Specialty certification. Prerequisites: minimum age 10, minimum open water diver and completion of the medical questionnaire. Course. The course is divided into 2 parts: - a theoretical part with reading of the manual and review of knowledge - 2 sea dives.

The Assistant Instructor rating is the next step after becoming a Divemaster along the scuba instructor pathway. It allows you to collect valuable teaching experience, practice briefings, teach academics, and conduct in-water training. If you want to further your career as a dive professional, you can finish the Instructor Training Course, pass the Instructor Evaluation, and become an Open Water Diving Instructor.

This is the first step towards an exciting career as an SSI Dive Professional without having to complete a full Instructor program. Dive Guides can work for SSI Dive Centers, guiding dives in a variety of environments and conditions. On completion of this program, you will be awarded SSI Dive Guide certification. Prerequisites: 18 years of age, active dive guide status, science of diving, 60 logged dives.

Becoming an SSI Specialty Instructor is easy. Continue your diver training as an instructor by enrolling in a Specialty Instructor Seminar for each diving specialty you wish to teach. You can also co-teach the specialty you're interested in with an experienced Specialty Instructor, or request verification of your experience and send it directly to SSI.
