Make a change in your life and work in the best profession in the world, scuba diving. We offer a personalized learning program and a lot of practice, so you can become the best SSI Divemaster. At Dawn Dives Lanzarote, we suggest you to do it in the best way, joining our team, so you can live a dive center from inside. You will learn not only the diving technique and experience, but also to manage and the day to day of a diving center, very important in order to find work as Divemaster. We propose that you join the dive center for 2 to 4 months (according to previous qualifications), starting as an assistant and gradually gaining prominence, until you gain the necessary confidence of a Divemaster. You will transform from a normal diver, one observer, to a group leader, a diving reference. In addition to underwater learning, you will also learn to deal with customers, anticipate their fears and concerns, solve problems in and out of the water, load tanks, repair equipment, etc. Issues that are not learned in a course, but that are learned by working in a dive center, serious and professional which meets all standards. Through online learning and open water and confined water dives, the SSI Scuba Diver course provides you with the perfect foundation to become an independent and safe diver. You will learn everything you need for open water dives to a maximum depth of 12 meters together with an SSI Professional. With this course you will complete about half of the Open Water Diver course and can upgrade your certification later. All you have to do is complete the remaining theory and limited open water units as well as two open water training dives.

If you cannot decide which specialty programs are the best choice for you, join the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program! With this program, you can try a variety of specialties before committing to full specialty programs. It is a great way to experience what advanced diver training is all about and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver Program, you will try out 5 different specialties. You will complete one open water training dive per specialty after a comprehensive briefing with your SSI Instructor. With this trial program in specialty diving, you will have total freedom to explore. You can complete the full specialty programs any time in the future and credit your Advanced Open Water Diver training towards them.

El programa de Dive Guide / Dive Master es el primer paso de una experiencia apasionante que no te puedes perder. Aprende a guiar con total seguridad a buceadores certificados en diferentes entornos y condiciones. Al preparar briefings de buceo, hacer evaluaciones del lugar y guiar inmersiones, en muy poco tiempo te convertirás en un Dive Guide seguro y competente. Empieza tu trayectoria profesional de buceo trabajando como Dive Guide o sigue con tu formación para obtener la cualificación de Divemaster.

Con la especialidad de Deep Diving de SSI aprenderás todo lo que necesitas para bucear entre los 18 y los 40 metros de profundidad gracias a la combinación de sesiones académicas e inmersiones en aguas abiertas. Aprenderás a planificar y completar inmersiones profundas con seguridad y a utilizar ordenadores y cálculos de consumo de gas para disfrutar al máximo de tus inmersiones profundas. Al finalizar, obtendrás tu certificación de especialidad de Deep Diving de SSI y podrás explorar lugares de buceo profundos dondequiera que vayas. Esta especialidad de SSI es un requisito previo para cursar algunos de los programas de buceo avanzados, por lo que es el siguiente paso más recomendable en tu formación de buceo.

Con el uso de Nitrox, podrás aumentar tus tiempos de fondo y los márgenes de seguridad, además de reducir los intervalos en superficie, por lo que podrás pasar más tiempo buceando y menos tiempo esperando. En este programa aprenderás nuevas habilidades y aumentarás tus conocimientos de buceo. Además, aprenderás a planificar y a bucear con seguridad con mezclas de aire enriquecido de hasta el 40 % de oxígeno. Al finalizar, obtendrás la certificación de Enriched Air Nitrox 40 % de SSI.

This 10-day training program qualifies you to independently teach several key SSI programs, such as Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue and Dive Guide. For those who want to take more time to learn and gain valuable teaching experience between training programs, the 3 parts can also be completed as individual steps: Assistant Instructor, Instructor Training Course (ITC) and Instructor Evaluation (IE), one after the other, at your own pace and flexible schedule.
