Through online learning and open water and confined water dives, the SSI Scuba Diver course provides you with the perfect foundation to become an independent and safe diver. You will learn everything you need for open water dives to a maximum depth of 12 meters together with an SSI Professional. With this course you will complete about half of the Open Water Diver course and can upgrade your certification later. All you have to do is complete the remaining theory and limited open water units as well as two open water training dives.

We propose that you join the dive center for 2 to 4 months (according to previous qualifications), starting as an assistant and gradually gaining prominence, until you gain the necessary confidence of a Divemaster. You will transform from a normal diver, one observer, to a group leader, a diving reference. In addition to underwater learning, you will also learn to deal with customers, anticipate their fears and concerns, solve problems in and out of the water, load tanks, repair equipment, etc. Issues that are not learned in a course, but that are learned by working in a dive center, serious and professional which meets all standards. With this program, you can try a variety of specialties before committing to full specialty programs. During the Advanced Open Water Diver Program, you will try out 5 different specialties. You will complete one open water training dive per specialty after a comprehensive briefing with your SSI Instructor. With this trial program in specialty diving, you will have total freedom to explore. React Right is SSI's emergency first responder course and provides the knowledge and practical skills to act as a first responder in a medical emergency. In this flexible course, you can choose your subject areas, such as initial assessment, first aid, CPR and stabilization techniques. You will learn more about administering emergency oxygen and using the defibrillator (AED).
