The subsoil of this popular bathing lake consists of gravel, which offers good visibility even during heavy bathing. On weekends there are usually plenty of divers on site. Those who can may prefer to dive during the week when it is less crowded.
In the fabulous and unique San Fruttuoso Bay, a life-size statue has been placed in memory of Duilio Marcante. The statue lies at a depth of about 16 meters and, including its base, rises about 5 meters.
Grotta dei Gamberi dive site, located on the east side of Punta Chiappa, begins at 18 meters at the base of the mooring buoy. Heading south and slightly to the west, the rocky seabed mixed with posidonia slowly slopes down to 22 meters, where a beautiful vertical sinking wall begins.
To the east of the channel leading to San Fruttuoso, an indentation in the Promontory wall provides shelter for numerous pigeons, which give the dive site its name. The dive begins on a 10-meter seabed, from where a wall starts that sinks to 36 meters. There are 3 caves.
One of the most famous dives in the entire Portofino promontory. A beautiful shoal with a cap at -6 mt, very rich in fish, you can turn it all around in 30 minutes of diving.
Dragone is a beautiful wall dive that allows you to see all that the Mediterranean has to offer. Suitable for beginners, but for more experienced divers the ride you can take is truly beautiful.
Named after a land cave where a hermit lived there, who spent 30 years in the cave fed by fishermen, who unfortunately passed away in the same cave. Dive for all levels, but recommended for advanced.

Targa Gonzatti is a beautiful dive site very close to Secca Gonzatti, a very famous dive in the Marine Park. A beautiful wall rich in life and environments between rocky and posidonia.
Dive spot suitable for all levels: beginners can stay in the upper part from 10 to 22 mt. Advanced and experienced divers can do the part all the way to the bottom at 35 mt. Technical divers can arrange a line on the outer boulders starting at 45 and reaching 65 mt.
This dive becomes particularly striking when one comes across an area rich in well-developed red gorgonian specimens. However, this zone starts around 30 meters deep and therefore can only be visited by divers with advanced licenses. Also okay for less experienced divers
