As a deep diver, you have the unique opportunity to discover some of the best dive sites in the world and the most popular sea creatures. There is so much waiting for you in the deep blue sea. In a balanced combination of theory units and open water dives, you will learn everything you need for dives between 18 and 40 meters in the SSI Deep Diving Specialty course. You'll learn how to plan and safely execute your deep diving adventures, and get the most out of your deep dives with the help of dive computers and gas consumption calculations. After completing the course, you will receive your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore the most beautiful deep dive sites wherever you want. This SSI Specialty is also a prerequisite for other advanced training courses, making it the next logical step in your diving education.

Advanced Open Water Diver

If you can't decide which specialty programs are best for you, join the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program! You will try deep diving and navigation, as well as 3 other specialty areas, before opting for a full specialty training. It's a great way to learn what Advanced Open Water Diver training is all about and how valuable it can be for your diving adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver program, you will learn about 5 different specialties by completing one open water training dive per specialty after a detailed briefing with your SSI Instructor. With this program, you have complete freedom to explore everything. You can complete the complete specialty training at any time and have your Advanced Open Water Diver training credited to it.
