Extended Range Foundations
The SSI Extended Range Foundations course offers you the opportunity to expand your advanced diving skills in a workshop atmosphere. You will learn more about the use of technical equipment in conjunction with the Total Diving systems for which you are already certified. Building on your basic skills, you will perfect buoyancy control, trim, finning techniques, positioning and communication. The Extended Range Foundations course is a supplement to existing certifications and is designed to increase the diver's confidence and control in the water. All training dives are conducted in a pool/limited open water environment above 12 meters. Upon completion of the course you will receive the SSI Extended Range Foundations certification.
