If you can't decide which specialty program is best for you, join the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program! After experiencing three different specialty disciplines, including deep diving and navigation, you'll begin full-scale specialty training. This is a great opportunity to experience firsthand what advanced diver training is all about and how important it is to your diving adventures. In the Advanced Open Water Diver program, after an in-depth briefing with an SSI Instructor, you'll experience five specialties by completing one open water training dive in each specialty area. This program gives you the freedom to explore to your heart's content. You can complete specialty training at any time in the future and receive recognition for completing Advanced Open Water Diver training.
