If you can't decide which specialty program is best for you, join the SSI Advanced Adventure Program! This program allows you to experience a variety of specialties before committing to a full specialty program. It's a great way to experience what advanced diver training is all about and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures. During the Advance Adventure Program, you'll experience five different specialties. After a comprehensive briefing with an SSI Instructor, you'll complete one open water training dive per specialty. With this specialty diving experience program, you have complete freedom to explore your adventure. At any time in the future, you can apply your Advanced Adventure training as credit toward the Specialty program.

The SSI Perfect Buoyancy Specialty is the best way to improve your buoyancy and get the most out of every dive. Buoyancy is an essential diving skill, but any diver will tell you that it takes time to perfect. In the Perfect Buoyancy Specialty, you'll learn advanced buoyancy techniques and skills so you can improve your buoyancy faster and enjoy more relaxed diving adventures. In this exciting program, you'll also learn new skills to protect the environment and work in all dive situations. At the end of the course, you'll be SSI Perfect Buoyancy Specialty certified. With better buoyancy skills, you'll soon be able to hover with ease and take the underwater photos of your dreams!

The SSI Deep Diving Specialty teaches everything you need to dive to depths between 18 meters and 40 meters through a mix of classroom sessions and open-water dives. You'll learn how to plan and safely complete deep diving adventures and get the most out of deep diving through computer and gas consumption calculations. Upon completion, you'll receive your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore beautiful deep dive sites wherever you want. This SSI Specialty is a prerequisite for some advanced training and is a step toward continuing your dive education.

In this specialty program, you'll gain the advanced skills and knowledge you need to navigate underwater safely and confidently. You'll learn how to use your compass and natural navigation skills, estimate distances, return to a designated point, and basic navigation patterns. You'll also learn how to combine your navigation skills to enhance your diving experience. All of this will hone your underwater observation skills, improve dive safety and help you get the most out of every dive. Upon completion, you'll receive the SSI Navigation Specialty certification.

Night diving requires different skills than diving during the day. The SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility Specialty is the best way to learn about night diving and practice the skills you need to become a safe and confident night diver. In this program, you'll get all the knowledge and skills you need to dive safely and comfortably at night or in limited visibility conditions. Through a combination of online learning and open water training dives, you'll learn how to enter and exit the water, how to use specialized equipment, and how to communicate easily with your buddy at night or in limited visibility. By the end of the course, you'll be SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility Specialty certified and confidently diving at night.
