Marine sea snails, also known as marine gastropods, are one of the most diverse groups of ocean animals. They inhabit rocky shores, coral reefs, sandy seabeds, and even the deep sea. Their spiral shells provide protection, while a muscular foot allows them to crawl, cling to rocks, or burrow into sand.
