Munk’s devil ray (Mobula munkiana) is a small to medium-sized mobula species found primarily in the eastern Pacific Ocean, especially around Baja California and the Gulf of California. This elegant ray is known for its triangular pectoral fins, short head fins, and streamlined body, perfectly adapted for life in open coastal waters. Like other mobulids, it feeds on plankton and small fish, filtering food as it swims in large, coordinated groups.
