Join an Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty program if you want to shorten your surface intervals and extend your dive time. You'll spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites instead of waiting! The program expands your diving knowledge to include the safe planning of dives with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen. Through online learning and open water and confined water dives, the SSI Scuba Diver course provides you with the perfect foundation to become an independent and safe diver. You will learn everything you need for open water dives to a maximum depth of 12 meters together with an SSI Professional. With this course you will complete about half of the Open Water Diver course and can upgrade your certification later. All you have to do is complete the remaining theory and limited open water units as well as two open water training dives.

A Referral Diver is a beginner diver who has completed the theory and pool/limited open water training for the SSI Open Water Diver program, but wishes to complete the open water dives at another SSI Dive Center or at a later date. This type of course allows you to complete the training in two parts, often with the theory and pool exercises in one country and the open water dives on vacation in warmer waters

An Indoordiver is a diver who makes his first dives in a swimming pool or a specially designed diving pool. The Indoordiver course teaches the basics of diving under controlled conditions before going into open water. Upon successful completion, the diver receives a certificate that qualifies them for certain dives in confined water. What is an indoor diver course? An indoor diver course is a diving course that takes place in a controlled environment such as a swimming pool or indoor diving center. Difference to Open Water Diver: The main difference to the Open Water Diver course is that all dives in the Indoor Diver course take place in a swimming pool or an artificial body of water, rather than in open water.
