This program includes electronic theory which you complete at home before the start of the practical dive. After a brief introduction, you will enter confined water, where your instructor will ensure you feel comfortable and secure throughout the experience. Upon completing the dive, you will earn your SSI Try Scuba recognition card, marking the beginning of your scuba diving journey. This globally recognized certification program is the best way to begin your lifelong adventures as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater. You will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification. Open Water Diver course lasts 2-3 days and consists of electronic theory, exercises in shallow water and 4 dives: 1) Theory helps you to understand the importance of equipment, safety, and how to move underwater. You can do this part comfortably at your home the days before the start of the practice, from your computer or smartphone. 2) Exercises underwater and on the surface will make you feel confident with the equipment and they will help us to solve any issues that may come up deeper underwater beforehand. 3) Once we finish the exercises, we will do 2 dives at a maximum depth of 12 meters and the other 2 at a maximum depth of 18 meters where we will continue practicing everything learned previously. The price includes all equipment. It is required to be over 10 years old. Children between 10 and 14 years old are certified as Junior Open Water Divers with a restriction of 12 meters of depth. When they reach the age of 15 years old they automatically become Open Water Divers. Upon finishing the course divers over 14 years old are qualified to dive with a buddy up to 18 meters deep.

This is the perfect way to explore a variety of specialties before committing to full specialty courses. It’s a fantastic opportunity to dive deeper into advanced skills and discover how valuable further training can be for your underwater adventures. Duration: 2-3 days Requirements: OWD certification or equivalent from any recognized diving federation Minimum age: 12 years old This course is all about improving your diving skills and helping you become a more confident, advanced diver. Plus, you’ll get to dive while earning your certification! During the program, you’ll try 5 different specialties. Two are already set: Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation. The other three are your choice, picked with the help of your instructor from a wide range of specialty dives. After completing the Advanced Open Water Diver program, you’ll be qualified to dive to depths of up to 30 meters (21 meters if you’re between 12-14 years old). You can enroll in the Advanced Open Water Diver course right after earning your OWD certification!
